ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Business Operations Analyst at Bluevine, you will use analytical skills to develop, deploy and maintain critical business intelligence reporting, as well as uncover new opportunities to drive operational excellence, positioning Bluevine as a best-in-class financial services platform for small businesses. Taking a whole-company lens to your problem-solving, you will deliver highly visible work with large impact across our lines of business.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Develop, deploy and maintain critical business intelligence reporting across the entire business, leveraging SQL extensively for data gathering and Tableau for data visualization;
- Ensure the reliability and accuracy of performance reporting across the business, working closely with the Business Intelligence and Data Ops teams to resolve issues when required;
- As an owner of performance reporting across our business, you will use business judgment to continually refine and optimize business reporting;
- In addition to performance management responsibilities, you will also take on ad-hoc analyses that help answer critical business questions and enable best-in-class decision making across the business;
WHAT WE LOOK FOR
- Bachelor’s degree from a top university in a quantitative field;
- 2+ years of experience in an analytical and / or performance reporting role
- SQL proficiency and Tableau experience required;
- Strong affinity with working with data, and comfort designing and executing analysis on large data sets;
- Excellent problem-solving skills and an ability to gather information, distill key insights and drive to a solution;
- Strong verbal and written communication skills across formats (email, slides, dashboards);
- A bias toward action paired with strong organizational and documentation skills;
- Comfort working on multiple high-priority projects concurrently, including with limited time and data;
- Passion for working in a fast-paced, dynamic, global environment
