Analyst – Research Focused

Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our investment team as an Analyst with a strong emphasis on industry research and interest in startup ecosystem. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting investment decisions (pre & post investing), conducting market analysis, and providing deep insights to contribute to the success of our investment initiatives.

Responsibilities:

Reporting:

  • Prepare and present reports summarizing research findings, investment recommendations, and market analysis to internal stakeholders
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate reporting for decision-making purposes
  • Prepare periodical reports for circulation to fund’s LP & IC members

Market Research:

  • Conduct in-depth market research to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and potential investment areas within the technology, healthcare, and other relevant sectors
  • Analyze industry reports, competitor landscapes, and market dynamics to provide comprehensive insights to inform investment strategies

Data Analysis:

  • Utilize data analytics tools and techniques to extract valuable insights from large datasets, aiding in the identification of high-potential investment opportunities
  • Develop and maintain robust financial models to assess the financial health and growth potential of target companies

Due Diligence:

  • Assist in the due diligence process by gathering and analyzing financial data, market trends, and competitive positioning of potential investment targets
  • Evaluate the feasibility and scalability of target companies and provide detailed reports to support investment decisions

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in any discipline
  • 2-4 years of work experience with strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, with proficiency in data analysis tools and financial modelling
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently
  • Passion for technology, innovation, and the startup landscape
