About the Role:

In this dynamic role, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. You will work closely with stakeholders across various departments to gather and analyze requirements, design efficient processes, and implement solutions that enhance overall compliance and operational effectiveness.

Responsibilities:

  • Requirements Gathering & Analysis:
    • Conduct in-depth interviews and workshops with stakeholders to understand their needs, challenges, and expectations.
    • Analyze business processes and identify areas for improvement and optimization.
    • Document and articulate business requirements, ensuring they are complete, accurate, and aligned with organizational goals.
  • Solution Design & Implementation:
    • Work with developers and designers to translate requirements into actionable solutions, applying agile methodologies throughout the development cycle.
    • Develop user stories, acceptance criteria, and test cases to ensure solutions meet business needs.
    • Participate in user acceptance testing and collaborate with stakeholders to resolve any identified issues.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting:
    • Leverage data visualization tools like Power BI to analyze trade compliance data and identify trends, patterns, and potential risks.
    • Generate insightful reports and presentations to communicate key findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Analyze project outcomes and recommend changes to optimize future iterations.
  • Additional Responsibilities:
    • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and regulations related to trade compliance.
    • Maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
    • Utilize basic Python scripting for data analysis tasks (a plus).

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of experience working as an Associate/Business Analyst or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proven ability to gather and analyze requirements, identify stakeholders’ needs, and translate them into actionable solutions.
  • Experience with software QA processes and testing methodologies is a plus.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools like Power BI (or similar).
  • Basic knowledge of Python scripting is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Understanding of Trade compliance domain is a significant advantage but not mandatory.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
