Job Title: Business Intelligence Developer (BI Developer )
Job Description:
As a BI Developer at ADA Asia , you will play a crucial role in transforming raw data into actionable insights, enabling informed decision-making across various departments. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of hands-on experience with Power BI and a strong background in data visualization, analytics, and report development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Integration and Modelling :
- Design, develop, and maintain data models for efficient reporting and analytics.
- Integrate data from various sources, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
- Dashboard and Report Development:
- Create visually appealing and interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into effective visualizations.
- Data Analysis and Interpretation:
- Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Collaborate with business units to understand their analytical needs and provide actionable recommendations.
- Performance Optimization:
- Optimize Power BI reports and dashboards for performance and responsiveness.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data models, queries, and visualizations.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and validate data requirements.
- Present findings and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders in a clear and understandable manner.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science , Information Systems, or a related field.
- Proven experience (2-4 years) as a Power BI Developer or in a similar role.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, including DAX and M Query.
- Experience with data visualization best practices and UI/UX design principles.
- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and SQL.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of other BI tools such as Tableau or QlikView.
- Experience in data engineering and ETL processes.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) for data storage and processing.
