Key responsibilities include:

1. Strategic responsibilities –

• Produce high quality market research reports for intended audience.
• Work with external and internal teams for researching on the needed product
• As part of the product management team, responsible for ensuring the right requirements for building better, needed products.

2. Functional responsibilities –

• Identify and define the objective of an assigned product / project / service
• Draft questionnaires, polls, surveys, interviews, and other data collection resources.
• Research and compile data related to current product market, customer demographics and interest, and factors influencing product demand; analyzes results to identify ways of market penetration of current products.
• Do competitive analysis on various factors, including, features, pricing, target audience and target market
• Analyze data to make recommendations related to research findings.
• Report findings as a complete market research report with appropriate steps towards product positioning.
• Liaison with business team to get an understanding of the market.
• Work with the Clients/customers to collate the feedback on the product and the future market trends.
• Coming with Data of Minimum requirements in a product for entering into a market.
• Identify potential new products or markets through research.
• Forecast and tracks industry trends based on collected data.

To qualify for the role, you must have :–
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Good research and analytical skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Experience in doing market research for product companies, preferably.
• A fair bit of understanding on how to interpret data and numbers and covert it into something meaningful.

Education and Experience:
• Bachelors degree in Marketing Research, or related field required; MBA preferred.
• Experience in doing market research for product companies, preferably.
• Working with Identity / Payment industry gives an edge.
