This role involves working closely with clients to understand their data needs, creating insightful reports and dashboards, and providing strategic guidance on data-driven decision-making. Keys Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field. Proven experience in designing and developing reports and dashboards using Power BI. Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing concepts, and ETL processes. Proficiency in DAX, SQL, and data transformation techniques. Experience with Power Query and M language. Familiarity with connecting to various data sources, including cloud-based and on-premises databases. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients to gather and analyse business requirements and translate them into data models and visualisations. Design and develop interactive and visually appealing Power BI reports and dashboards. Connect to various data sources, including SQL Server, Azure, Excel, and other third-party databases. Develop and optimise data models to ensure high performance and accuracy. Create complex DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) measures to support business logic. Provide training and support to end-users on Power BI tools and capabilities. Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the BI process. Stay updated with the latest Power BI features, best practices, and industry trends. Work with stakeholders to provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
